Brandon Sappington

Brandon Sappington, a kind and cherished soul, passed away on Monday, January 26th, 2026, in Chesterfield Twp., Michigan. Born on Sunday, March 25th, 2001, in Detroit, Michigan, Brandon was 24 years old at the time of his passing.

Brandon's life was an embodiment of warmth, kindness, and vibrant enthusiasm. He leaves behind his loving friend and longtime companion, Ally, who stood by him through thick and thin. He is also survived by his devoted parents, Stephen and Susan Sappington, his brother, Stephen Sappington and his partner Justine Kachman, and his grandfather, Ronald Sappington. Brandon's close-knit family also included his cousin; Braxton, many aunts, uncles, other cousins, and his beloved furry friends, Marley and Mocha, who filled his days with joy.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gail Sappington, and George and Evelyn Balowski, and his puppy; Duncan, whose memories he cherished deeply.

A manager at "Hungry Howie's Pizza," Brandon approached his work with dedication and enthusiasm. His love for life was evident in his passion for music, and he particularly enjoyed attending "Faster Horses" concerts. His joyous spirit shone brightly during the holiday seasons, where he famously decorated the outside of his home for Halloween and Christmas with boundless enthusiasm and creativity.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to support his family during this difficult time.

Family and friends will be received for visitation on Friday from 2-8 pm at the Wasik Funeral Home, Gendernalik Chapel, located at 35259 23 Mile Rd. A funeral service will follow on Saturday 10:30 am at the Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am. Interment at Meade Cemetery.
