Brandon McDonald Sheedy

Brandon McDonald Sheedy, 38, of McCool, Mississippi, passed away March 29, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at McCurtain Creek Cemetery in Choctaw County. Rev. Jim Gardner will officiate the services.

Brandon was born on August 3, 1987, to his parents, James Kevin Sheedy and Ellen Martin Sheedy in Mississippi. He worked in construction. Brandon had a love for the outdoors and especially camping, hunting, kayaking, and fishing.

Brandon is survived by his sons, Matthew Haygon Sheedy of Indianola, Mississippi, Brenton Tyler Sheedy of Gluckstadt, Mississippi, Kadon McDonald Sheedy of Mobile, Alabama, and Lawson Cain Sheedy of Carmack community; parents, James and Ellen Sheedy of McCool, Mississippi; brothers, James Kevin (Carrie Peels) Sheedy, Jr. of Jasper, Alabama, Carlton Phillip (Miriam) Sheedy of Hazel Green, Alabama, Joshua Alan (C.J.) Sheedy of McCool, Mississippi; sisters, Jennifer (Mike) Elizabeth Ramage of Winona, Mississippi, and Amanda Kay (T.J.) Hymans of Florence, Alabama; James Mitchell Ramage II and Zacharry Allen Ramage; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, A.M. & Barbara Martin, paternal W.C., and Genevieve Sheedy.

Serving as pallbearers are Haygon Sheedy, Mitch Ramage, Phil Sheedy, Josh Sheedy, John Hill, and Shawn Green. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Brenton Sheedy, Mike Green, Richard Moss, Josh Hunt, Zack Ramage, Richard Hudson, and Jamie Sheedy/ Ricky.
