Brandon Keith Thurman

Brandon Keith Thurman, 51, of Hereford, Texas passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Memorial graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega, Texas. Greg Conn will be officiating the service. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Brandon was born June 18, 1974, in Hereford, Texas to Kevin and Rose Thurman. He graduated from Vega High School in 1992.

He married the love of his life, Stormie Waters on June 28, 2014, in Vega, Texas.

He collected small cars. Brandon loved to reminisce about his high school glory days comparing his trophies to those of his children’s. He was a Hulk Hogan fan and could do a great impression of The Hulk. Brandon enjoyed singing George Strait songs while in the shower. After graduating, he went to work for Richardson Seed. He worked for Groneman Service, John Deere and Roark Hardware. In June of 2022 he got a job working for his cousin Clyde. That was his dream job. He loved farm work and being on the tractor. He also enjoyed working on vehicles with his dad and uncle Andy. His greatest achievement was his children. He loved them dearly.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Wendy Marie Thurman; grandparents, Joe and Lucille Brorman, and William Keith Thurman.

Survivors include his wife Stormie Thurman, of Hereford, Texas; parents, Kevin and Rose Thurman, of Vega, Texas; children, Jake Thurman, Natasha Thurman, Karigan Tongate and husband Logan, Samantha Tidwell, Kyle Bishop, and Aaron Bishop; sister, Amy Vilar and husband Phillip, of Bixby, OK; eight grandchildren; and his grandmother, Marylyn Thurman; and mother-in-law, Debbie Payne.
