It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon Cory Ybarra, age 39, a devoted husband, father, and son who left this world on September 29, 2025. Brandon‘s life was a testament to love, dedication, and the joy of family, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Brandon is survived by his beloved wife Vanessa Ann Ybarra and their two cherished sons Camron Joel and Nathan Cole Ybarra. He was a proud father, always beaming with joy as he watched his sons grow into the remarkable young men they are becoming. His love for them was boundless and he took great pride in being an active part of their lives, whether it was cheering them on at soccer games or sharing laughter over family meals. Brandon was a loving son who held a very special place in the hearts of his parents Bill and Elia Goodman.

He is also survived by his grandmother Geneva Holland and his aunt Yvonne Pena (Aaron) who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him. Additionally, he leaves behind his father and mother-in-law Ricardo and Rosa Ramirez along with his brother and sisters in-law Ricky Ramirez (Vicky), Erica Ramirez, and Lillian Ramirez. Brandon‘s legacy continues through numerous nieces, nephews, great-nephew, great-niece, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.

Brandon attended Blackshear Elementary and Ector Jr. High in Odessa before moving to Reno, NV. He played football for Reno High School and then played for Americas High School after moving to El Paso. Brandon was a proud graduate of America’s High School in 2004. Brandon furthered his education at the University of Texas, El Paso.

He married his high school sweetheart, Vana, on June 18, 2005 and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Brandon was known for his warm spirit and his passion for caring for his family. He found joy in cooking for them while listening to his favorite music and spent countless hours tinkering in his garage where his creativity flourished.

Brandon‘s professional journey included roles at various companies, including Coca-Cola and Grainger, and he had recently embarked on an exciting new chapter with 3M, a position he was truly enthusiastic about. His work ethic and dedication were evident in everything he did and he approached each day with a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference.

As we remember Brandon let us celebrate the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the countless memories he created with those he cherished. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends and he will be forever remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father, beloved son, and a kind soul.

In honor of Brandon‘s life a memorial service will be held to celebrate his legacy and the impact he had on all of us.
