Juanita Ybarra, age 100 of McQueeney, passed away on September 21, 2025. Juanita was born on June 24, 1925 in Marion, Texas to Paula (Moreno) and Juan Ybarra.

Juanita is preceded in death by her former husband, Eliseo Zamora, her parents, her children, Janie Ruiz, George Zamora and Felipe Zamora, granddaughter, Alma Ruiz, her siblings, Gregorio Ybarra and Ninfa Villarreal and nephew, Larry Villa.

Survivors include her children, Eliseo Zamora, Jr., Gabriela Castillo, Reynaldo Zamora, John Zamora, Susie Zamora Martinez, Josephine Zamora, Joe Zamora, Ann Zamora Castillo, Victor Zamora, Fidel Zamora, Jerry Zamora, and Simon Zamora; sister, Anita Rodriguez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Castillo, Anthony Castillo, Christopher Gallegos, Jacob Castillo, Gabriel Castillo, Jesse Ruiz and Richard Castillo.
