The Ybarra Family with great sadness announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Frank Ybarra Sr. of Oxnard on Tuesday, August 26th at the age of 84.

Frank was born November 27th to Erasmo and Guadalupe Ybarra in Clint, Texas. Frank moved to California in 1957 with the family.

He met the love of his life Connie and married June 18, 1961. They had a love like no other. Always holding hands together. When you saw Frank, Connie was right beside him. They had the type of love that only people dream of. From that union they welcomed four children.

Frank worked for General Motors Automobile Corporation (The Plant) in Van Nuys, for 30 years. His job was to apply hood decals onto the Firebirds while on the assembly line. One of his proud moments was applying the decal on the Firebird driven by Burt Reynold in "Smokey and the Bandit".

Frank will be remembered as a kind, loving and caring person. Who dedicated his time coaching and mentoring many young boys on the baseball field at Colonia Park for 18 years.

He leaves behind three children Cathy Nevarez (Gus), Francine Litada and Frank Ybarra Jr. (Angela) all from Oxnard. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He also leaves behind 1 brother Joe Ybarra (Maria) of Monterey Park, CA. He is preceded in death by his daughter Connie Cisneros and granddaughter Brianna Litada of Oxnard.

Many nieces and nephew's whom he loved so dearly.
