Mr. Young often read to our son's class when he was in 1st grade at Rice Lake Elementary. Our son would come home and share how fun it was to listen to Mr. Young with his many character voices and especially when he brought his guitar along and sang. He often read Hank The Cowdog books and our son went on to read nearly all 77 in the series. Mr. Young brought books to life and we are grateful for the gifts he shared with students. We send our prayers to his family and loved ones.

Brandon has been a friend/client for many years and will be greatly missed be everyone who knew him. When life provided him a new challenge or hurdle, Brandon always continued with his positive attitude and laughter. My thoughts and prayers to the entire family. RIP.

Brandon´s family, and mine were friends, attended the same church, Newport United Methodist Church in Newport. Brandon and I were classmates in our primary school days at Pullman Elementary in St Paul Park and then, later on in high school at Forest Lake High School graduates of the Class of 1978. Always a good guy, wearin a white hat when one was nearby. Chased away a bully for me at SPP. And he taught me how to play hockey on a game board that had plastic men. I don´t remember scoring, ever, but at least we were playmates, too. He was one of a kind.
R.I.P. brother. See you there or in the air.

I haven't seen Brandon in about 35 years... I knew him through the Young Life ministry in Forest Lake when he was a kid...always a fun guy with alot of musical talent ( a killer voice in those days)...Wish I could/would have known him in adulthood... sounds like his faith remained important to him throughout life... A life well-lived!

my heart is sad for all of you. I know he is with the Lord. I had the honor to take care of him and was able to pray with him. He is one of those patients you will always remember.
