Brandy Cargill Obituary
Brandy Lynn Cargill, age 43, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 17, 2024. A memorial service will be held at Concord Church in Gates, TN on Saturday, November 30th, at 3 pm.
Brandy was born in Moline, IL on July 5, 1981, to the surviving father, Norman Layne Jr. of Gates, TN and the late Deborah Vallejo (Caudill). Brandy attended Love and Truth Church of Dyersburg, TN. She worked for over 15 years as a Senior Project Analyst for Liberty Mutual Insurance. Brandy loved to travel and especially the cruises, enjoying a fancy cocktail on occasion. She rode a Harley Davidson motorcycle and Mustang, always riding in style. The beach was her favorite destination, with the wind in her hair and the sand between her toes. She was a devoted wife and mother; her absence will be forever filled with the wonderful memories that she leaves with us.
Brandy is survived by her husband of over 25 years: Jacob Adam “Jake” Cargill of Gates, TN; one daughter: Breana Lee Cargill of Cleveland, MS; one brother: Jon Stahler of Columbus, OH; one sister: Angie Chalk (Layne) of Virginia Beach, VA; and many friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Cancer Foundation can be sent to westcancerfoundation.org, with tribute cards sent to Jacob Cargill, 2070 Concord Rd, Gates, TN 38037.
