Brandy Jo Creekmore

Funeral services for Brandy Jo Creekmore, 49, of Wells, will be held Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wells, Texas, with Bro. Dale Morton officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Brandy Jo was born July 9, 1976, in Lufkin, Texas, to Billy Joe Creekmore and Jeanine (Chapmon) Creekmore, and went to her Heavenly home Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Brandy found pleasure in the simple things in life, such as school days and graduating from Wells High School, participating in Special Olympics, local barrel races, rodeos, fishing, hunting with her daddy, and riding her ATV Mule. She found joy daily in grabbing her little purse, money, baby, and keys and telling her mom, "Time to make a circle." This consisted of riding around Wells, running to the local store to buy an Icee or Coke, while visiting friends and family along the way. Brandy never met a stranger. She took delight in her morning coffee on the porch with Jeanine, friends, and family.

Brandy and her cousin Adria were best of friends! They Face Timed and called each other throughout the day planning and seeking a way to get together for the day.

Brandy loved her church goings and all music, especially gospel music.

"Close your eyes, Go to sleep, where's your baby? What are you doing tomorrow? Get mad! Where you going? Oh well. You got some taters? Duh. Whatever! What Maggie doing? Don't worry bout it?"

There are so many memories of Brandy as she forever changed the lives of her friends and family. They were Brandy's greatest joy. She also loved her fur baby dogs, Jewell and Maggie as well as Jake, her horse.

Brandy is survived by her mother, Jeanine Creekmore of Wells, TX; uncle and wife, Buck and Nannette Chapmon; her many cousins, Adria Chapmon, Jennifer (Issy), Gracee, Kyle Puryear of Wells, TX, Starla & Nick, Gunner, Katelynn (KK), Remi Horton and Lailah of Wells, TX, Angie & Mark, Wyatt Yarborough of Lufkin, TX, Shaylee, Matt and Hazelie Wigley of Lufkin, TX, and J.W. Shumaker and Tamra Bussey of Wells, TX.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Billy Joe Creekmore; grandparents, E.W. and Jacquelyn Chapmon, Waylon and Louise Metcalf, Johnny and Lucille Creekmore, Maxie and Dezza Hester, and Joe & Mattie Stone; aunt, Linda Gail Havard; and aunt, Tammie Bussey.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Bailey, Gunner Horton, Slade Johnson, Casey Moore, Clay Oliver, Clint Oliver, Joe Ben O'Quinn, and Jason Womack.

Honorary pallbearers Jay Bailey, Larry Bailey, Dewey Chapmon, William Durham, Gene Easley, Coy Ford, Nick Horton, Curtis McKnight, Royce Oliver, Riley O'Quinn, and Ricky Womack.

Special memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Wells, prior to the funeral service.
