Brandy Marie Hultman passed away unexpectedly on August 11th, 2025 at her home. She is survived by her husband, Adam Benzaquen, her daughter, Rian Benzaquen, three stepchildren, Jacob, Chloe and Ilana Benzaquen. She is also survived by two sisters, Codi and Jess Hultman, and her mother and father, James and Jill Hultman of Geneseo, Illinois.

Brandy was born August 20, 1979, in Geneseo Illinois. She attended JD Darnell High School, where she excelled in softball and tennis. She attended Western Illinois, and was inducted to the National Honor Society, double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology.

She was hired on the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department as a correctional officer, then was moved to the road. She left the Sheriff’s department to move to Wisconsin with her husband, so they could be closer to her stepchildren.

Brandy loved being outside, and working on her yard. She loved plants and flowers, spending hours tending to them. She was also into reselling, which was her passion, opening up two booths at antique malls, under the Trash Panda name.

She was also very much into helping people. She made sure if someone needed help, or someone to talk to, she would be there. She was extremely compassionate, artistic and loving. Loyal to a fault, and the brightest smile that could make any bad day into a good one. She will be very missed by her family and friends.
