Funeral services for Ms. Brandy Marie Pankey, age 39, will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Bradford Cemetery. Her celebration of life will be officiated by Bro. Steven Fonville. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m.
Ms. Pankey worked in Architectural Sales for North Georgia Brick. She was born in Jackson, TN, on November 10, 1983, and passed away at her residence in Marietta, GA, on August 18, 2023.
Brandy was a 2002 graduate of Bradford High School. She later obtained her bachelor’s degree from MTSU and was also a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bradford. In her spare time, she loved going to concerts, cheering on the UT Vols, and going to trivia nights with her friends. She loved her friends, loved her fur babies, and loved her family.
She is survived by her mother, Kim Lowery of Medina; her grandfather, Jimmy Pate of Hornbeak, TN; grandparents, Joyce and Larry Taylor of Bradford; one sister, Laura Pankey of Trenton; five aunts, Renee (Nat) Finkelstein, Autumn (Nathan) Rau, Brandy Wright, LeAnn Pankey, and Deb Pankey; one uncle, Tim (Patti) Taylor; five cousins, Anna (Tommy) Kent, Philip Gross, Blakely Wright, Caroline Pankey, and Brigid Rau; her extended family, Paula, Dawson, Dayne, and Don Davis; and many friends who loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her father, Danny Pankey; paternal grandparents, Riley and Rebecca Pankey; uncle, Brad Taylor; aunt, Tanya Taylor; and nephews, Tyce and Kyle Taylor.

I miss my friend. I am saddend to just find out about her passing. Brandy was an awesome person, Nd I will miss her. She was a dear friend of mine. I loved her dearly she will be missed. My condolences to her family. Y'all raised her well!
