Mr. William Junior "Popo" Branham of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green having attained the age of 84 years, 11 months, and 15 days. He was born on Thursday, January 2, 1941, in Adair County, Kentucky, the son of Dudley & Ruby (Blakley) Branham. He was of the Christian faith. He was a farmer and a sawmill worker for Johnny Rich Lumber Company. Known for being the light and center of his family, he was a generous guy, helping everyone that he could and never met a stranger. He found great joy in fishing, wood crafting, playing bluegrass music, riding horses, and telling stories. He loved to spend time with the ones he loved most, his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Laveda (Capps) Branham, whom he wed on Saturday, September 12, 1959; brothers, Mack Branham, Bobby Branham, Paul Branham, Donnie Branham, sisters, Janet Branham, June Branham, & Jewell Holman.

He is survived by his daughters, Tammy (& Elvis) Thacker, Debbie (& Stevie) Johnson, both of Burkesville, Kentucky; siblings, Jerry Branham of Monticello, Kentucky, Judy (& Charles) Wheeler of Burkesville, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Grady Holman of Burkesville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Michelle Thacker, Chris (& Amanda) Thacker, Ashley (& Rob) Kelley Howard, John William (& Loren) Johnson; great grandchildren, Lily Thacker (& Cameron Thompson), Angel Thacker, Taylor Craig, Katye Howard, Easton Howard (& Abby), Christian Maschino; special friends, Kevin Humphrey, James Bow, Rob Keith; beloved dogs, Max, & Lassie, other relatives, and friends also survive.

The funeral service was conducted on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bryant & Luke King officiating. Burial was in the Perkins Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Chris Thacker, Michelle Thacker, John Johnson, Loren Johnson, Easton Howard and Christian Maschino.
