Brantley Satterfield Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cox Funeral Home - Hamilton on Mar. 16, 2026.
Brantley Elias "Eli" Satterfield, 31 of Hamilton, GA passed away Saturday March 7th, in Columbus Ga. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Community Chapel, Pine Mountain Valley, Saturday March 21st at 12pm. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 11am until 12 pm at the church. Family and friends will gather after the service at the home of Chris and Courtney Pace. 173 Hubert Russell Road Pine Mountain Ga 31822

Eli was born in Columbus, Georgia on October 8th 1994 to Richard and Elizabeth Satterfield. He was his Mom's bubble child and the apple of his Dad's eye.

At a very early age, it was apparent that Eli was a force to be reckoned with; If he wanted to do something he knew may get him in trouble, he would weigh his options and most likely go for it. As a little man, he never met a stranger and people knew him everywhere he went.

Eli was larger than life and made sure he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a head strong, determined young man and usually achieved whatever he set out to accomplish. Eli attended Harris County schools and was in the class of 2013.

As a grown man, he never met a stranger and he touched many people. He was a good listener with many people having said he changed their lives. He had such a great heart, and became an ordained minister in 2025.

Eli was shop foreman at Rogers Metal Craft and loved his job, his coworkers and especially his boss. He was a great father and spent a lot of time on the golf course, ballfield, or just hanging around with his son Brantley. Eli showed Brantley God through himself; He played with Brantley and he prayed with Brantley. Eli was so proud of his name sake.

If you had the opportunity to meet or know such a unique, shinning individual of a man, you were surely blessed. Eli will truly be missed by many.

Eli was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Satterfield and his maternal Grandparents Brenda and Lamar Livingston.

Survivors include his son, Brantley Elias Satterfield ll of Hamilton; Brantley's Mom, Hailey Flynn of Harris County, his mother, Elizabeth Satterfield of Hamilton; brother, Jeremy Satterfield (Liz) of Columbus, sister, Carol Cox (Chris) of Salem Ala; sister, Marla Smiley (Octavias) of LaGrange; sister, Kelli Craig (George) of Johnston S.C. Several Aunts and Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
