Ellis West Obituary
Mr. West was born at home in Pine Mountain Valley on January 13, 1943, to the late Harvey Lee West and Eddie Louise Nash West. A lifelong resident of Pine Mountain Valley, he was deeply rooted in the community he loved. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Ralph was a hardworking man who, alongside his beloved wife, owned and operated R & B Construction for many years before retiring. He took great pride in his work and in providing for his family. Above all, Ralph will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and a man who valued family above everything else.
Mr. West is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Barbara Alice West of Pine Mountain Valley; his children, Donna Hughes (Terry) of Snellville, Ellis West, Jr. (Angel) of Pine Mountain, and Barbara West-Stemple (Ron) of Pine Mountain; 4 grandsons, and 13 great grandchildren, along with many other extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Arrangements are being handled by Cox Funeral Home – Hamilton.
