Bravyn Orval Beus
March 19, 1966 – December 2, 2024
Bravyn Orval Beus, 58, of Soda Springs, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024. Bravyn was born March 19, 1966 in Logan, Utah and was the first child of his loving parents Orval and Sara Jo Beus. Raised in Soda Springs, Bravyn was involved in scouting and sports and loved to hunt and fish. He graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1984, and later served an LDS mission to Houston, Texas. He attended College at Idaho State University and graduated with a degree in Radiologic Sciences.
His radiology career took him many places over the years. From working in Wyoming, and Sun Valley, Idaho to Nome, Alaska, Bravyn was good at what he did and enjoyed his career. He was quite intelligent, teaching himself how to do most things. He was pretty handy at mechanics, landscaping, and cooking, and loved creating decorative chandeliers and lamps. He started his own business called Exclusive Wildlife Creations. He was well known for coming up with new ways to use deer, moose, and elk antlers in his lamps and other designs. Another passion for Brav was taking care of his property. It was his pride and joy. He was very good at landscaping and planting trees and making sure there were no weeds in sight.
As an avid angler, Bravyn loved taking his Grandpa Reao out on the Blackfoot Reservoir in his fishing boat. His favorite fishing was done in Alaska catching many King Salmon on the river. Duck and goose hunting were another favorite pass time of Brav's. He had quite a collection of decoys and hunting gear. And whether it was deer or elk season, Bravyn always had plans to go out and see what he could find. He truly had a gift for hunting, and always harvested and processed his own wild game meat. Many friends and family enjoyed a nice elk steak or roast he generously offered. Bravyn was always willing to help someone in need, whether he knew them or not.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved being a part of the Grays Lake Ward. They were all so good to help him, and we appreciate their kindness and support. Bravyn is survived by his twin daughters Brittanee Archibald and Hillaree Carstens. A brother, Bryan (Kiana) Beus of Inkom, Sisters: Yvett (Craig) Adams of McCammon, and Angie (Rick) Cutforth of Shelley. He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents. A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs. Friends may visit that morning from 10:30-11:30 am at Sims Funeral home.
