Brayden Jasmann tragically passed away following a work-related accident on September 18, 2025. He was born in Glendale, Arizona on December 21, 2002. He spent much of his early childhood in Silverpeak, Nevada, and Absarokee, Montana. He later moved to Watford City, ND, where he graduated in 2021 and continued to reside until his passing.
Brayden will be remembered for his sense of humor, his loyalty, and the way he could make every room brighter. He was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan (#GoBirds), a collector of white hats and guns, and was known to joke that he absolutely hated fishing. He would, however, still go hunting with his dad-just to spend quality time together-only to freeze on a mountaintop, oftentimes coming home without ever seeing a single deer. He also loved the thrill of riding dirt bikes, a passion that perfectly matched his adventurous spirit.
He shared an inseparable bond with his brother, Dylan. They were more than brothers-they were best friends, confidants, and each other's constant support. Whether laughing together, facing challenges, or sharing everyday moments, they could always count on one another. That closeness defined much of his life and created memories that will be cherished forever. Even now, we take comfort in knowing that he will continue to watch over Dylan, guiding and protecting him in his own special way.
We will deeply miss his bright blue eyes, his contagious smile, and the laughter that could light up even the hardest days.
He is survived by his parents, Colleen (Jesus) Segura of Harlowton, MT, and Michael (Lexi) Jasmann of Watford City, ND; his brothers, Dylan Jasmann of Watford City, ND, and Harper and Brecken Segura of Harlowton, MT; and his dearly loved friend and coworker, Alexandra Nieto. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Jeanine Griffith of Silverpeak, NV; paternal grandparents, Scott and Connie Reed of Silverpeak, NV; aunts and uncles, Larry (Tammy) Jaudon of Spearfish, SD, Lee (Kenny) Guthridge of Senatobia, MS, Lori (Joe) Dunn of Silverpeak, NV, Christa Griffith of Silverpeak, NV, Clint (Leann) Griffith of Broken Arrow, OK, Kilah Griffith of Harlowton, MT, Kelly (Vincent) Scoccia of Kerrville, TX, Samantha (Brandon) Watkins of Reno, NV, Karen Griffith of St. Augustine, FL, and Sean Reed of Silverpeak, NV; along with numerous cousins, extended family, and friends who will carry his memory forward.
He was preceded in death by his maternal aunt, Lynn Gross.
Brayden's legacy is not measured in years, but in the love, laughter, and loyalty he gave so freely. He will be so deeply loved and missed forever. On January 28, 2025, he proudly announced his sobriety and committed himself to remaining sober for the rest of his life-taking it one day at a time. Throughout that journey, his mom offered him unwavering encouragement each day, celebrating every milestone and reminding him of his strength.
On achieving his goal of lifelong sobriety, she can proudly say, "Well, son, you made it!" Forever Sober. Forever 22.
