Breda Elizabeth McEntee, was 91, and a long time resident of San Mateo. She passed away peacefully on the morning of October 17, 2025, after a brief illness.
Breda was born August 1, 1934, in Ballybay, County Monaghan, Ireland. Breda was one of five children, Catherine, Mary, Margo and Michael. She was the only surviving sibling.
Breda was married to Pete McEntee in 1957 in San Franciso, CA. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth, Timothy, Patrick and predeceased by her son Gary. Also, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Breda was devoted to her Catholic faith and found great comfort and joy in attending daily Mass, novenas and multiple prayer groups.
Funeral Services for Breda McEntee as follows:
Viewing Time: Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Rosary: Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Viewing and Rosary will be held at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 S El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA 94402. (650) 343-1804
Funeral Mass: Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
Funeral Mass will be at St. Gregory Church, 2715 Hacienda St, San Mateo, CA 94403
