Brenda Bauer Obituary
Brenda was a 1962 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and dedicated many years to working in customer service at GE Plastics.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 47 years, Charles E. Bauer; and her brother-in-law, Billy Mann.
She is survived by her son, Andy Bauer; grandchildren, Zachary Bauer and Alyssa Foley (Scott); great-grandchildren, Melody, Lincoln, Remington, Archer and Evalynn; sisters, Sharon Mann and Melba Tyson (Jim); nieces and a nephew.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main St., Mt. Vernon, IN 47620 with burial to follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to NEWLIFE Rescue & Adoption, 6500 Leonard Rd. N., Mt. Vernon, IN 47620.
