SEBRING - Brenda E. Blankenship, 60, went to be with the Lord Friday, February 21, 2025, after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 15, 1964, in East Liverpool, Ohio.
Brenda attended the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene. A true child of God, who possessed compassion for both people and animals alike. She was a homemaker dedicating her life to caring for her children. Brenda enjoyed spending her time reading, writing poetry and crocheting. She was a loving mother, grandmother and best friend to her granddaughter, Ariana.
She leaves behind two daughters, Cassandra Blankenship of Salem and Paris (John Mussig) Blankenship of Youngstown; granddaughter, Ariana Diaz; grandson, Emmett Mussig; sister, Jeannette Lett of Missouri, along with many chosen family members.
She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Buckley; her chosen mother, Patricia Good; maternal grandparents, and her beloved furry companions, Winter and Carmel.
Friends and family will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at Stark Memorial.
A funeral service celebrating Brenda's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you honor her memory by cranking up some Gospel music, while cleaning (bleaching yourself out) on Saturday morning.
