Brenda Alline Brown, 78, of Imboden, passed from this life surrounded by loving family on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Cottages.
She was born June 11, 1947, in Clover Bend, to the late Sam and Beulah (Polston) Frakes. She worked in insurance for many years, as well as medical billing. Brenda was also a member of Imboden First Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Luther Brown on Dec. 18, 1965, in Imboden.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband and seven siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherie Middlecoff (Carry) of Imboden, Kimberly Slusser (Kevin) of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Travis Middlecoff of Walnut Ridge, Tanner Middlecoff (Lauren) of Jonesboro, Blaine Middlecoff (Kyla) of Manila, Casey Middlecoff (Olivia) of Bono, and Kel Slusser (Chloe) and Kyle Slusser, both of Walnut Ridge.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 22, from 10-11 a.m. at Imboden First Baptist Church. Funeral services followed at 11 a.m. with Frank Casillas officiating. Interment was in Hope Cemetery at Imboden under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
Grandsons served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer was Nancy Tate.
