Brenda Cothrum Obituary

Brenda was born on November 7, 1953, to Homer and Mildred Dixon. She Loved to walk along the beach. Brenda was a devout Christian singing gospel hymns everywhere she went. She enjoyed the little things in life like taking time to stop and smell the flowers. Brenda loved her both her church congregation and her family deeply, especially her grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama. A funeral service will follow, starting at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Brother Winford D. May. Burial will take place at the Bear Creek City Cemetery in Bear Creek, Alabama.
She is survived by her husband, Paul D. Cothrum; children, Christopher (Lauren) Cothrum, Amanda Gail Cothrum; grandchildren, Cash Cothrum, and Collins Cothrum; and a host of family, friends, nieces and nephews
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Mildred Dixon; and brother, Billy Wayne Dixon
