Brenda Faye Depew, 73, of Mount Carmel, TN, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend went to her Heavenly home in the Kingdom of our Lord on July 1, 2025.
Brenda was born on December 7, 1951, in Kingsport, TN, and was the 14th child of the late Mr. Jessie Paul Depew and Mrs. Sarah Shehan Depew. She faithfully attended the Mount Carmel United Methodist church and lived her life guided by her deep faith in the Lord. She was a kind-hearted and loving soul who cherished her family above all else. Married at the Vermont Methodist Church on November 13, 1969, she wed the love of her life, Robert Lee Depew and was blessed with two beautiful daughters and a loving marriage of nearly 56 years.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert; her daughters, Jennifer Monroe and Amy Piccalo; their husbands Shannon Monroe and Michael Piccalo; her grandchildren, Dakotah Monroe, Anthony Piccalo, Alessandra Piccalo, and Ava Piccalo; her sisters, Sue Poore, Peggy Milhorne, Connie Fish, and Patsy Scott; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family members.
She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, her siblings, Beulah Wilson, Mary Belle Whiteman, Cathy Smith, Guy Depew, Jack Depew, Buddy Depew, Bobby Depew, Jimmy Depew, and Billy Depew.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral home in Church Hill, TN. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastors Craig Needham and Junior Depew officiating. A burial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
