Brenda Faye Etherton, age 65 of Spring City, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 28, 2025. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky, on August 18, 1960, the daughter of the late Arvile Foster and Ida Lee (Morrow) Foster. She was also preceded in death by her long-time companion, Jerry Etherton; her brothers, Danny Foster, Sr. and Kenny Morrow; and her grandparents, Willey and Ora Morrow.
Brenda moved to Spring City in 1987 where she was a homemaker. She enjoyed walking, spending time with her grandchildren, having family gatherings, and making her famous potato salad.
Brenda is survived by her sons, Larry (Paige) Hood and Chris Etherton, both of Spring City; her daughter-in-law, Brooke Etherton of Sale Creek; her eight grandchildren; her brothers, Jackie Foster of Richmond, Kentucky, and Ronnie (Joan) Foster of Somerset, Kentucky; her sister, Janet Matos (Roger Green) of Jacksonville, Florida, and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services for Brenda will be in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 12:00 noon with Rev. John Fields officiating. She will be laid to rest in a private family gathering at Spring City Cemetery.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee, where they will receive friends on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
