Brenda Lee Garrigus, 66, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1958, in Newport News, Virginia to Milton Williams and Geraldine Medlin Williams.
Brenda had a degree in hospitality and had worked at numerous restaurants after a few years at Newport News Shipbuilding in Virginia.
Brenda passed away at Ozark Health Nursing Home in Clinton, Arkansas She loved her time spent there and was considered their Ambassador greeting new residents and making them feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff at Ozark and her hospice nurse Geri Cabana dearly loved Brenda and gave her excellent care during her last days. The family is very grateful to them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert David Garrigus, father, Milton Storman Williams, and sister, Debra Jean Ingram.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Ashley Schaffer Greene (Brian), her mother, Geraldine Medlin Williams, sisters, Patricia Ann Taylor (George) and Barbara Jo Huffman (Rusty), nephews: Jonathan M. Taylor, Michael S. Taylor (Heather) and Rodney M Huffman (Rebecca), Chadwick Ingram, niece, Felicia D. Conti (James), great-nephews: Steve Ingram, Evan Taylor, Zander Taylor, Alex Taylor, Laiken Taylor, John Lennon Taylor, and Marshall Huffman, great-nieces: Mallory Huffman, Elena Conti, and Emilia Conti.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm, December 21, 2024, at the Shirley Community Center, 489 Hwy 9 E Shirley, Arkansas 72153.

Sitting down and talking to each other for what seemed like hours.. I am grateful to have found a friend like Brenda. SHE Was A Very SPECIAL And CARING person To Me. And Always Will Be.
