Brenda Carol "Sis" Goad

Brenda "Sis" Carol Lee Goad, age 61, of Bowling Green passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026 at the Bowling Green Medical Center surrounded by family. Brenda was born on September 24, 1964 in Bowling Green to the late Carols Ray Lee Jr. and Barbara Jean Harlow Lee.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carlos "Bug" Ray Lee III and Michael Ray Mills.
She worked for many years as a waitress at several restaurants. Brenda enjoyed most of all being a homemaker, she enjoyed being outdoors whether it was tanning and being in the sunshine or wading in the creek. She loved listening to the radio and being surrounded by her friends and family and cherished their time together always.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of over 45 years, Jeff "Goldie" Goad; her daughter, Bonnie Jean Goad (Jimmie); two sons, Thomas Ray Goad (Jessica) and Hunter Lee Goad (Sha); seven grandchildren: Taylor Howard (Gabe), Kayleigh Simmons (Tatumn), Caleigh Self, Bryleigh Self, Tanner Goad, Timber Goad, and Atticus Goad; and one great-grandchild on the way.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1:00pm at the J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway with burial at the Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin prior from 9:00am until the time of service.
