Memorial Service for Mrs. Brenda Adams Hayes, 67, of Alexander City, will be Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Mrs. Hayes passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. She was born on October 25, 1957 in Alexander City, Alabama to Charles Edward Adams and Carol Fuller Adams. Brenda's life was a melody of joy, devotion, and creativity that resonated with all who knew her. Her passion for life was evident in her love for singing karaoke. Her voice, often described as a warm embrace, could light up any room and bring smiles to the faces of friends and strangers alike. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent with her beloved family and pets. Brenda's home was a sanctuary of warmth, laughter, and the sweet aroma of her famous fudge, a testament to her skill as a baker. A devout Christian, Brenda's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She lived her life as a testament to her beliefs, spreading kindness and compassion wherever she went. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering, and it provided her with strength and solace throughout her journey. Brenda also had a creative soul, which she expressed through her love of arts and crafts. Her hands were rarely still, as she found peace and fulfillment in creating beauty for others to enjoy. Her artwork and crafts were not just hobbies but extensions of her generous spirit. The beach was another of Brenda's sanctuaries, a place where she felt connected to the grandeur of creation. The sound of the waves, the feel of the sand beneath her feet, and the vastness of the ocean were sources of inspiration and reflection for her. Mrs. Brenda Adams Hayes lived a life rich in love, faith, and creativity. Her legacy is one of joy, devotion, and the sweetest fudge, a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. As we bid farewell to Brenda, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that will forever sing in the chorus of angels. She is survived by her husband, Michael Hayes of Alexander City; daughter, Brandi (Britt) Jackson of Spanish Fort; son, Tony (Kayla) Hayes of Alexander City; grandson, Cayden Jackson; and brother, Michael (Amy) Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Toys for Tots at www.secure.toysfortots.org.
