Thomas Daniel Hayes, age 67 of Biloxi, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Hayes and his step son, David Verdin.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Fannie Hayes; his brothers, Anthony and Donald Hayes; and his uncle, Jerry (Anita) Miesll.
Thomas was a proud graduate of Biloxi High School, where he made lasting memories as a dedicated member of the football team. After high school, he began his professional journey in the restaurant industry, managing various restaurants.
Driven by a love for the sea and a desire for new challenges, Thomas later returned to school to pursue a career as an offshore boat captain — a role he embraced wholeheartedly for over thirty years. His time on the water reflected his adventurous spirit and deep connection to the Gulf Coast.
In 1990, Thomas married the love of his life, Fannie. When not at sea, he cherished every moment at home, where he found joy in quiet evenings, barbecuing in the backyard, and entertaining friends and family.
