James Farold Rush, Sr., known by many as "Boss Hog," passed away on September 28, 2025, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He was born on May 9, 1969, in Biloxi, Mississippi.
A graduate of Vancleave High School in 1987, James dedicated himself to his work, spending time as a delivery driver at Neil Gas.
James is survived by his children: James Jr, Kalum, Jeremy, Justin, Ethan, and Chase. He was a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren. James is also survived by his siblings: Darlene Ealy, Nathan Rush, Cindy Toothman, Rachel Walker, and RJ Rush.
James was preceded in death by his father, Roy E. Rush, and his mother, Grace B. Butler. He was also preceded by his brothers, David B. Rush and Keith W. Rush.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who touched James' life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
