Brenda Hedrick Obituary
Brenda Myers Hedrick, 83, of Thomasville, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. Ms. Hedrick was born December 24, 1942, in Forsyth County, to Eugene Franklin Myers and Opal Jean Key Myers. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her late husband of 27 years, Harold Shoaf. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Darian Shoaf (Donna); three daughters, Angela Rierson (Scottie), Wanda Hedrick (Jr.), and Shanna Shoaf; eight grandchildren, Brooke (Zach), Tyler (Tori), Steven (Nicole), Heather (Scott), Timmy (Mary), Nicole, Isaiah, and Alyssa; and 10 great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Ollie, Solaris, Everleigh, Halston, Dawson, Karma, Zella, Chloe, Millie, and Joshua.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chaplain Steve Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Liberty Hospice 5 E Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360
