Brenda Joyce Jondahl, 71, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on November 16th in her home surrounded by her loved ones, Christmas, and her favorite music. She was the beloved mother of Megan (Brian), Taylor, Levi, Joshua (Jenny), Kaycie (Shane), and Brittany (Jeremy) and loving partner of Rocky. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Although she retired from the State of Nevada, being a mother was the most important part of Brenda’s life, a role that gave her much pride and “Joy.” Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the happiness of her children before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was supportive, kind, silly, and witty.
Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents John & Helen Jondahl and Art & Frieda Rassmussen, her parents Robert Jondahl and Joyce Rassmussen, her stepmother Joyce Jondahl, and her brother Ronald Rentschler. She is survived by her six children, twenty grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her brothers, Bob (Liza) Jondahl, Robert (Susan) Rentschler and Randall (Emma) Rentschler, her sister Robin (Michael) Haymes, and her partner Rocky Manfredini.
On Saturday, December 14th Private Visitation will take place from 10:00-10:20, General Visitation from 10:20-11:00, followed by Interment at 11:00 at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. A Celebration of Life will be held at Brenda & Rocky’s home following the Graveside Service.
“Mothers hold their children's hands only for a short while, but their hearts forever."
