Brenda King, a beloved member of the Lawrence community, passed away on October 24, 2025. Born and raised in Canton, she was a proud graduate of Canton Academy, having graduated in 1980. Brenda was known for her vibrant spirit and loved to express herself through painting. Her passion for flower gardening brought beauty to her home, and she had a special knack for discovering treasures at yard sales. Family and friendships were at the heart of Brenda's life. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, often reaching out to check in on them via phone or social media. Brenda was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church, where she found community and a sense of belonging.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Randy King, of Lawrence; her daughter, Addy Edwards, of Memphis, TN; and her cherished grandchildren, Luke Edwards, C.J. Prasky, and Braden Edwards. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Warrell, of Lawrence, and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ruby Warrell, and her sister, Teresa Lee.

Brenda's kindness, creativity, and love will be missed by all who knew her.
