Brenda Kay Krenke, 53, of Bear Creek, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, after bravely fighting her battle with ALS. Born on December 14, 1971, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brenda was the beloved daughter of Clyde and Beverly (Bublitz) Schuelke.

She graduated from Little Wolf Jr./Sr. High School in 1990 and pursued her passion of caring for others by obtaining an Associate's Degree in Nursing. For nearly 30 years, Brenda dedicated her life to healthcare working at ThedaCare in New London, spending the majority of her career delivering babies - a role that brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

Brenda was known for her quick wit and infectious laughter, which brightened the lives of all those around her. She cherished her family deeply and was a devoted wife to her husband Brian Krenke, with whom she celebrated 25 loving years of marriage. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Macy (Nathan) Reynolds, Riley Krenke, and Lily Krenke. Brenda took great delight in attending her children's sporting events, watching crime shows, playing games, and spending hours by the water, whether swimming or simply enjoying the company of her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Brian; her daughters, Macy (Nathan) Reynolds and Lily Krenke; her son, Riley Krenke; her mother, Beverly Schuelke; her brother, Brian (JoAnn) Schuelke; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who were touched by her kindness and spirit. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Schuelke, and her in-laws, Shirley and Ronald Krenke.

A Memorial Service for Brenda will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 4:00 PM at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco, with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 1:00 PM - 3:45 PM. Friends and family are invited to join for dinner and drinks at Cedar Springs afterward to honor Brenda's life and legacy. In a celebration of her favorite color, purple attire is encouraged but not required. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her husband, Brian, to be shared with a yet to be determined memorial.

Brenda will always be remembered for her warmth, her humor, and her selfless compassion. She touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
