Brenda Kay Leveque, 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on March 22, 2025. She was born on July 17, 1956, in Indianapolis, to the late James and Mary Davis.
Brenda was a lifelong resident of Broad Ripple. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1974. Shortly after graduating, she married Daniel Leveque, with whom she was about to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary.
After a job in the insurance industry, Brenda enjoyed a long career with the Indiana University School of Medicine’s Office of Graduate Medical Education. She was beloved by generations of physicians for her cheerful disposition and ability to solve problems.
Brenda retired from the School of Medicine in 2023 in anticipation of the birth of her granddaughter, Constance. Her favorite pastime was making memories with Constance. Brenda also enjoyed reading, traveling with her best friend, and exploring Broad Ripple’s restaurants and events.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Daniel; son, Eric (Katelyn Klingler) Leveque; granddaughter, Constance; niece, Emilie Leveque; nephew, Andrew Leveque; and mother-in-law, Peggy Leveque.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 2, from 10am to 12pm, with a Memorial Service to follow at 12pm, at Meridian Street United Methodist Church, 5500 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
