Brenden Cole Cox, age 18, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 26, 2026. He was born in Indianapolis on November 30, 2007, Brenden was truly larger than life. He had a natural gift for making people laugh and bringing joy to everyone around him. Brenden was an amazing brother to all of his siblings and deeply cherished his role as an uncle to his two nephews, Jyair and Jameer. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and expressing himself through creating music. His energy, humor, and big heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Brenden is survived by his father, Jason, his mother, Kayla; his siblings, Courtney, Jay Jay, Allena, Harlee, and Cash; his grandmothers, Vicki, Lorie, and Sally; his grandfather, Ronnie Burns; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Papaw, Danny Cox, and his Grandfather, Doug Hawk. Brenden was an amazing person and will be truly missed.

Service for Brenden will be 2:00 p.m,, Friday, February 6, 2026 at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with calling from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
