Brenda Lynn McClancy

Brenda Lynn McClancy, age 80, went to be with the Lord she loved and faithfully served on August 5, 2023, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Brenda was a member of Third Creek Baptist Church, and retired from KUB with 34 years of service, volunteered at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center and served as pianist in several churches for more than 50 years. She enjoyed her family, gospel concerts, U.T. Sports, jigsaw puzzles and talking on the phone with her friends. She will be remembered for her love of music, playing the piano, singing, and loved to laugh and talk. She was preceded in death by her parents, William R. (Bud) and Leatha Rose Lynn; brother's, Donald Joe Lynn, William R. (Bill) Lynn, III and James C. (Jimmy) Lynn, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Donald McClancy; son, Alan McClancy (Paige) and Anthony Lynn McClancy (Cyndi Webb); sisters, Doris Ballard, Nancy Jett (Burch) and Teresa Williams, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Rose Funeral & Cremation-Broadway.
