Graveside Service for Mrs. Brenda Jackson Miller, 79, of Hoover, will be Monday, December 1, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park in Alexander City, Alabama. Father Ray Remke will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home in Alexander City, Alabama.

Mrs. Brenda Jackson Miller, an example of selfless love and kindness, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on November 22, 1946, in Alexander City, Alabama to Thomas Eddrell Jackson and Elizabeth M. Neighbors Jackson, Brenda's life was a testament to the power of faith, the joy of giving, and the warmth of family.

Brenda's early years were shaped by the nurturing love of her parents, the late Thomas Eddrell Jackson and Elizabeth M. Jackson. The values they instilled in her created a foundation for the compassionate life she led. Brenda was a devoted Christian, and her faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She found immense joy in the fellowship within her church community.

Brenda was married to the late Howard Kenneth Miller. Though her heart was heavy with the loss of her dear daughter Janet Skotnicki, as well as her brother Barry Jackson, Brenda's spirit remained unbreakable, sustained by the love she held for her surviving family members. Her daughter, Jennifer Miller, MD, and son-in-law, Michael Skotnicki, both of Alabama, cherish the memory of a mother and mother-in-law who guided them with gentle wisdom and unwavering support. Brenda's legacy also lives on through her numerous cousins, who remember her fondly for her boundless generosity and loving nature.

Brenda's love for life was evident in her many interests. She was an avid gardener, finding solace and joy in the tranquility of her garden. Her hands, always ready to nurture and tend, brought forth an abundance of beauty and life that mirrored her inner grace. Brenda's pets were also a source of happiness for her, and she shared with them the same unconditional love that she extended to all living things.

Those who knew Brenda will remember her as the epitome of kindness. Her selfless actions and caring demeanor left an indelible mark on her community. Her ability to listen with an open heart, to offer comfort without expectation, and to love without boundaries made her a cherished friend, a beloved family member, and an invaluable part of the lives she touched.

Brenda Jackson Miller's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the light she cast upon the world continues to shine. Her unwavering faith, her boundless love, and her ceaseless kindness are the legacy she leaves behind-a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide those who were blessed to know her.
