Obituary for Brenda Joyce Minns 63 of Washington NC

passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, in Greenville, North Carolina. Born on February 28, 1962 in the vibrant neighborhood of Brooklyn, Brenda journey through life was one of caring.

Brenda Joyce Minns will be remembered as a loving, caring, and selfless woman whose kindness touched everyone she met. She leaves behind her devoted brother, William Minns; her beloved companion of fourteen years, Felecia Reaves; and many other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A proud graduate of Washington High School, Brenda excelled in basketball and earned numerous trophies for her athletic talent. Beyond her achievements, she was known for her joyful spirit and love of life. She found great happiness in spending time with loved ones, enjoying dinners out, going to the movies, and hosting gatherings that brought people together.

Brenda possessed a giving heart and always placed others before herself. She believed in helping in any way she could if she had it, she shared it. Hardworking and dedicated, she rarely allowed illness or hardship to keep her from her responsibilities.

Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering care for others will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Brenda will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
