Brenda Ellen Noel was born at her home in Spencer, Indiana to parents Louise and Beryl Noel on September 17, 1946. She passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026 at the Redcrest Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana. For over 40 years she has lived at ResCare group home in Bedford, Indiana. She worked for many years at Stone Belt facility in Bedford. She earned several medals for bowling at Special Olympics. In addition to her love for bowling, she was an avid puzzle worker and enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley gospel music. She had an amazing knack for remembering birthdays of her many friends and relatives. Brenda had a kind, loving heart and a ready smile for all who met her. She was preceded in death by her parents, in addition to sisters Kathie Brown, Patti Richardson and Judie Casey. She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Annett and Rebecca Snowhite, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by housemates Lisa Ortiz and Nancy Vibart. She received exceptional care from her beloved long term friend and caregiver Kayla Hunter and her favorite nurse, Nick Brewer. She will be laid to rest next to her family at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, Indiana.
