Brenda Kay Patrick, 77, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away February 10, 2026. She was born on January 1, 1949, in West Virginia to the late Earl K. and Opal V. (Isaacs) Lucas. She graduated from Guyan Valley High School in 1966. Brenda spent many years working as a nursing assistant, retail sales associate, and facilities caretaker for Smuckers.
An avid gardener, Brenda spent time in her flower beds and vegetable garden. She also enjoyed traveling to new places, watching the Cleveland Indians, attending church, crocheting, hosting family reunions, and spending time with family and friends. From den mother and Girl Scout leader to softball coach, bowling night to cards night and spontaneous park trips, Brenda led an incredible life. Her sweet, gentle, fun-loving, caring nature touched anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was dearly loved by all. She married Ollie C. Patrick, Sr. on April 25, 1966; they celebrated 59 wonderful years together.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Ollie Conway Patrick, Sr. of Massillon; children, Selena June (Daniel) Rohr, Melissa Larue (Douglas) Lynn, Constance Kay Williams, and Ollie Conway (Melisa Ann) Patrick, Jr.; brother, Gary E. (Mary) Lucas; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Lucas-Madden Cemetery in Hamlin, West Virginia the following day.
