Brenda Ramirez Obituary

Brenda Lee Ramirez, 60, of Fredericktown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025. She was born on Friday, October 1, 1965, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Robert Newland and Mary-Lou Haplin. Brenda lived a life marked by deep love and dedication to her family and community.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Luis Ramirez and a brother, Robert Newland.

Brenda worked for several years in housekeeping at Mineral Area Hospital in Farmington until her health declined. She attended Calvary Church in Fredericktown where she found great joy in worship and in friendships; she built within her church community.

In her leisure time, Brenda enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She had a special fondness for watching "The Price Is Right" and sharing meaningful moments every Saturday with her son Terry as they tuned into the Ultimate Fighting Championship together. However, her greatest joy of all was the precious time she spent with her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Brenda is survived by her two loving sons, Joseph Newland (Trisha Harris) and Terry Ramirez; and beloved grandchildren, Trae and Abigail Harris, Logan Schmitt, Olive, Gavin, Hudson and Winsten Newland, Adrihanna Rose-Marie Bonds and Abigaile Dawn Sikes; her dear sister, Rebecca Mull along with several nieces, nephews, friends and family. She will be remembered as a sweet, caring soul whose love for her family knew no bounds.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, 10:00 AM at Calvary Church in Fredericktown with Pastor Randy Sawyer officiating. Arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home—Wilson Chapel.
