Brenda Kay Smith (Hall), 57, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, in Lampasas, TX. She was born on May 3, 1966, in Lampasas, TX to Danny and Donna (Mason) Hall.
Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 10 am at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Brenda grew up in Lampasas. She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1984. After high school, she attended Central Texas College in Killeen where she earned an associate's degree in Business. In 1994 she began her career at the Lampasas Dispatch Record as a Graphic Designer and worked her way up to Office Manager/Bookkeeper. This year she would have celebrated 30 years at the Dispatch.
She was a devoted mother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed cooking, watching old sitcoms, and spending time with family.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother, Lola Mason, and her brother, Ronnie Hall.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Baumann and husband Ryan of El Campo, TX; her brother, Paul Hall and wife Lisa of Kempner; her sister, Melissa Hall and fiance Nathaniel Wanner of Harper; her nephew, Levi Burney of Lampasas; her nieces, Isabella Reinhardt of Harper, and Tiffany Hall of Adamsville; her uncle Elver and wife Verna of Kentucky (formerly of Liberty Hill), and Arliss Hall of Michigan and numerous cousins and friends.
