Mrs. Brenda Faye McGee Spivey
Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Brenda Faye McGee Spivey will be held 11:00 am Wednesday September 25, 2024 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Edgar N. Foster, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Park. Mrs. Spivey entered into rest at her residence peacefully Friday September 20, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of 28 years of Mr. Gregory “Greg” Spivey and a daughter of the late Mr. Clarence McGee and Mrs. Carolyn Taylor Boorne. Mrs. Spivey had made Aiken county her home for the past 28 years and loved to travel, taking cruises, scrap booking, painting rocks and fishing. Her family was the love of her life. Mrs. Spivey was a member of University Parkway Church of God, Aiken, SC. Additional survivors include three sons, Charles Lindemuth, Blairsville, GA, Billy Gay, Beech Island, Richard (Randi) Wilkey, Aiken; one daughter, Evelyn Suzzette (Robert) Hunt, Gloverville; seven brothers, James David Stamey, North Augusta, Johnny Ray Stamey, Blyth, GA, Frankie Stamey, Dearing, GA, Bill Joe Stamey, Dearing, GA, Clarence McGee, Jr., Grovetown, GA, Rv. Oscar McGee, Grovetown, GA, Carl McGee, Dearing, GA; five sisters, Connie McGee, Dearing, GA, Therese McGee, Augusta, GA, Betty Jean Reese, Dearing, GA, Debra Pulley, Dahlonega, GA; seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by one son, James Leroy Gay, one sister, Anna Wren. Pallbearers will be James Gay, Corey Kerby, Holli Kerby, Cliff Mayle, Ryan Jackson, and Lee Mayle. A visitation with the family will take place 6-8 pm Tuesday September 24, 2024 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801.
