Brenda Vickers Obituary
Brenda Marie Vickers, 84, passed away on February 21, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia with Dr. Richard Walker and Dr. Randy Cheek officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years James Halton Vickers and her parents V.E. Fletcher and Clara Fletcher Sauter.
Brenda was born in Ball Ground, Georgia living in Marietta, Georgia most of her life. She was a former member of Olive Springs Baptist Church, and currently a member of Hurt Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include: 2 daughters, Tammy Vickers of Marietta, GA, and Gidget (Marty) Verdi of Hilton Head, SC; Grandchildren, Tyler (Brittany) Dempsey of Rockmart, GA, Alexander (Savannah) Verdi of Summerville, SC, Brendan Verdi, and Cathryn Verdi, both of Hilton Head, SC; Great Grandchildren, Evelyn (EvieDrew), Robert (Robbie) Dempsey, and Mykal Verdi; and Numerous Nieces, Nephews, friends and extended church friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
