Brenda Walker Obituary
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2024 in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville, Texas. Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in the Breyley Suite.
Brenda was born on July 27, 1945, to Robert Noble and Wynona Fay Neeley Blair in Greenville, Texas. She moved from Greenville, with her parents, at the age of five to Fort Worth, Texas, and was a resident there for the rest of her life. She had many jobs: homemaker, Treasure City, K-Mart, and Edisons, where she found a love for jewelry and panda bear coins. Her favorite job was working at the testing center at T.J.C. Brenda was in church all of her life and loved meeting people.
Brenda met Thomas Dale (Tommy) Walker at Florence St. Baptist Church. They married on September 26, 1964, and had just celebrated their 60 year anniversary.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Walker; daughters, Renay (Morris) Sowder, and Susan Walker; four grandkids, Amanda Chartney, Lucas Sowder, Maygn Chavez, and Mason Chavez; and one great-grandson, Wyatt Chartney.
