Brenda was preceded in death by first husband Joseph A. Matthews and her father Harold Kirk.
Brenda enjoyed shopping, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, and crafts. She cherished caring for her indoor plants and taking car rides to get her most enjoyed coffee. Most of all, she adored time spent with her family. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends at Central Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL 60638 on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
