Brent Alan Farrar 72 of Tampa Florida passed away October 10, 2025
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Kathleen Farrar, and his dear sister, Susie Farrar.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 39 years, Laura Crabb Farrar, and their cherished daughter, Katie Lorraine, along with her partner, Tyler Brenton.
Brent also leaves behind his siblings: Patricia Monauni and her late husband, Allan; Michael Farrar; Kathy Burkart and her late husband, Robby; and Judy Adams, as well as many nieces and nephews. He shared a connection with Laura's family-her sisters and their husbands-who brought him laughter, warmth, and a sense of family. He was also grateful for the love and support of Laura's parents.
He took great joy in teaching Katie practical skills, such as using a chainsaw, riding a lawnmower, painting a room, and taking care of a home. These moments were an expression of his love and are part of the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
Brent had a deep appreciation for music, often reflecting on the meaning within the lyrics of his favorite songs. He was also a proud and loyal fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Lightning, and the Rays.
One of his greatest pastimes was spending time at the poker table with his closest friends: his brother Mikey, Mitch, Jr. Johnson, and Rick Rick. They shared many nights of friendly competition and stories from the good old days.
He will be remembered most for his generosity. Brent gave openly and often, never expecting anything in return. His warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
