Brett Fine Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hahn Funeral Home on Jan. 21, 2026.
Brett E. Fine Jr., born June 22, 1997, in Mishawaka, Indiana, was the beloved son of Brett E. Fine Sr. and Sara Fine. He was a devoted brother to his sister, Olivia Fine, and a loving fiancé to Allyssa Kempf.

Brett was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Vickey and Linda, as well as his great-grandmother Peggy, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Brett had a deep love for sports and proudly pursued his passion as a sports journalist in his spare time. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and deeply loyal to the teams he supported, especially the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers and the Oregon Ducks. Music was another passion that brought him comfort and joy throughout his life.

Growing up he spent his childhood all the way through high school as an athlete. He played football and baseball. He was well know for his tenacity and his athleticism. As a wide receiver and safety in football he was given the nickname "hands" because of his ability to catch any pass thrown his way.

He worked full time as a delivery driver for FedEx, where he was known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. Brett took pride in his work and in providing for those he loved.

Brett will be remembered for his genuine spirit and kindness, and the deep love he had for his family, his fiancé Allyssa, and all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered

A Visitation for Brett will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026, from 12:00PM – 3:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM, in the funeral home. Burial will take place on Monday, January 26, 2026, in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
