Catherine “Cathy” Boggs, 57, bravely fought until her passing on Friday, February 20, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 3, 1968, in South Bend to the late Lester “Paul” and Joyce (Dowd) Boggs, and later married Ralph Nolen, who survives.
Surviving with Ralph, are their children, Sami Boggs of South Bend, Travis Nolen of Mishawaka, and Michael Nolen of MN; a brother, John (Gail) Boggs of Washington, and 5 step-grandchildren also survive. Along with her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her sister, Heather.
Cathy loved being a mother and grandmother and was known to be straight forward in her words and actions. She loved camping, fishing, and being outdoors with Ralph at their sites in Howe, IN and Eby Pines in Bristol.
A time to celebrate Cathy’s life and visit with family and friends is scheduled for Thursday, March 19th at 11am, at Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park at Noon.
