Brett D. Sapowsky

Brett D. Sapowsky, 27, passed away August 30, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke on March 29, 1994 to Lawrence “Larry” Sapowsky and Shirley Weibel. Brett grew up and attended West Springfield High School. He recently was working at Meredith-Springfield Associates in Ludlow. Brett had a love for animals. He enjoyed video games, fixing cars and hanging out with his family and friends. Besides his parents Larry and Shirley, both of Chicopee, Brett leaves his grandfather Albert Weibel Sr, and his wife Judy Weibel also of Chicopee, his grandmother Anne West of Pittsfield, his brother Adam Sapowsky and his wife Jennie and their daughter Ella of W. Spfld., his sister Jennifer Sapowsky and her fiancé Joseph Mosher of Ludlow, his girlfriend Kara Babin of Chicopee, along with his extended family and many friends. Calling Hours will be held SUNDAY Sept. 5th at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST., W. SPFLD from 12 Noon to 3 PM. There will be a Prayer Service at 3 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dakine Humane Society, P.O. Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101-6307
