Brett Strand

Brett Michael Strand, age 57, passed away at his home in Owatonna on Monday, September 16, 2024.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 12:00 noon with visitation one hour before the service starting at 11:00 AM.
Brett was born on August 21, 1967, in Detroit Lakes, MN. He is the son of Clifton and Mary (Thruen) Strand of Waseca. Brett is survived by his three daughters, Ashlee, Samantha, and Desiree. He has one grandson, Jaxon and one granddaughter Braelynn. He is also survived by parents, Clifton and Mary Strand, siblings LeAnn Dahle, Linda Strand, Blair (Kristin) Strand, and Rob (Heather) Strand as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Strand and brother-in-law, Jeff Dahle.
Brett worked at Brown Printing in Waseca for over 25 years as a forklift operator and was known for his dedication and hard work. In his free time, Brett enjoyed fishing on lakes in the summer and the ice in winter, often finding peace in the outdoors. Brett was an avid sports fan and loved the Minnesota Vikings.
Brett will be remembered for his kind heart, love for daughters and family, his infectious laugh and warm smile.
